Patricia Ann Davis, 87, of St. Albans passed away at home on April 8, 2026.
She was a 1956 graduate of Nitro High School, a retired from Bell Atlantic with 32 years of service, a former member of Nitro Church of God and attended Lower Falls Baptist Church in St. Albans. Working beside her late husband Thomas Davis they built the home they lived in for over 60 years on Strawberry Road in St. Albans.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Thomas Davis, her parents Walton and Edna Janey Smith and her special canine “Cocoa”.
She is survived by her brother Howard Smith and wife Lynn, niece Julie Crouse and partner Greg Pertee, granddaughter Katie Barefoot and husband Jeffrey and their children J.D. and Brewer Barefoot and a host of other nieces and nephews, and her very special friend Beth Harper.
A Celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home, Nitro with burial following at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to Cornerstone Caregiving and her personal caregiver, Grace, along with Kanawha Hospice.
