Deborah Diane Wines, 65 of South Charleston passed away April 14, 2026 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.
Born January 10, 1961 in Welch, she was a daughter of Delmer Roberts and Janet Jenks Roberts.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Wines; children, Dusten Sexton, Lucifer Sexton, Brian Wines, Jason Wines and Savannah Cunningham all of West Virginia; sisters, Venessa Jeffers of Virginia and Jenetta Roberts of West Virginia, in addition of Raven Wines (Granddaughter), Artemis Cunningham (Granddaughter), Hailey Moore (Granddaughter), Amira Sexton (Granddaughter), Jazlyn Strack (Granddaughter) and many other family members and friends.
Diane was a mom, a mammy, a mamaw, a grandma, a sister and sometimes even “De-bor-ah” but no matter what she was called she loved the people who called her those things with all her heart.
She would want us to say she’s “mean” and “rotten” like she’d always tease us about; but truthfully she was loved by everyone she met and trust me she could she always get a good conversation going. She lit rooms up when she came into them, her smiles were always genuine and her opinions were always openly stated.
Its one of those things you pick up when youre so good with people like she was. She loved people and always had faith in them, she always saw the good in people despite the bad and that kindness lives on through her family and friends memories of her.
We could sit here and talk all day about the things that she liked but it’s really not the same without her smart comments. We’ll miss that about her, her smart mouth caught on quick with her kids though so you could just talk to one of them.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
