Anna Faye (Snodgrass) Jack, 87, of Clendenin, West Virginia, passed away on April 22, 2026, while residing in Centerville, Ohio.
She was born in Elkview, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Peter Donald “P.D.” Snodgrass and Oreda Kathleen (Douglas) Snodgrass. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, William Tony “Bill” Jack in 2024; grandson, Thomas David “TJ” Whitehead; son-in-law, Greg Crabtree; and sister, Donna Mae Snodgrass Moore.
Anna is survived by her daughters, Susan Jack and Cheryl Crabtree; grandchildren, Gage Whitehead and wife Joni, Scotty Crabtree, and Jodi Cameron Robbins and husband Justin Robbins; great-grandchildren, Hadley and Camden; and sister, Betty Lou Snodgrass Marion.
Anna was a graduate of Elkview High School in 1955, where she participated on the Elkview High School Majorette Corp and was a member of the Homecoming Court her senior year. She sang in a gospel quartet and throughout her life enjoyed music, the piano, and singing.
Following graduation she married our father, Bill Jack, and worked for the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company. Ann was very artistic and at one point worked at a local flower shop creating beautiful flower arrangements. She was also highly skilled in cake decorating and sewing. She eventually went to work for Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation in the Natural Resources Division, and retired from there after many years of service.
She was a faithful and active member of the Clendenin Advent Christian Church, sang in the choir, and gave her time generously, volunteering in various church events and with her daughters’ many activities.
In her spare time Ann enjoyed crafting, canning foods from the garden, attending auctions, and collecting antique and ornate glassware and other items. She was not the outdoorsy type, but thoroughly enjoyed participating in family fishing excursions. Following their retirements, Ann and Bill enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with family and friends.
The family would like to express their appreciation to all those who kept Ann and the entire family in their thoughts, prayers, and care.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to T.J.’s Place of Hope, PO BOX 750964, Centerville, OH 45475
