Amber Nicole Devaney, 43, passed away on May 3, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.
Amber was preceded in death by her parents, Lonzo Devaney and Robin Curry; her brothers, Bob Devaney, Greg Devaney, and Phillip Devaney; her aunts, Kelley Dillon and Sherry McMillan; and her grandparents, Ernie and Shelba Curry.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Khyla Taylor; her brother, Greg Devaney; her nieces, Sydney Devaney and Taylor Devaney; and her nephew, August. She also leaves behind her uncles, Scott Curry and Ernest Curry and his wife Donna Curry.
Amber is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly, including Stormy Clark, her husband Aaron Clark, and their daughter Nevaeh Clark; Sarah Curry and her children Olivia Hargis and Jayden Burd; Carlyle Curry; Stephen Curry, his wife Patty Curry, and their children Laykin, Patrick, and Dreama; Robert Devaney and his children Aiyana, Izzy, Jared, and Riley; and Amanda Stephens and her son Cody Stephens.
Amber will be remembered for her love for family, the memories she created with those closest to her, and the impact she made on the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.
A memorial service celebrating Amber’s life will be held on May 30, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Huntington Riverfront in Huntington, West Virginia.
