Ruby Janet Moore, 85, of East Bank went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 15, 2026 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Thomas, Field and Company, a loving Christian, wife and mother, attended Sharon Church of God and was an avid reader.
Preceding her in death were her brothers, Leslie Martin ‘Freddie’ Smith, Earl Smith; sister, Opal Smith Monday and parents, Cecil and Fannie McBride Smith.
Surviving are her husband, Lewis Moore; son, Lewis Moore II (Erica) of Cross Lanes; daughter, Kelli Myers (Fiancé, Roger Collins) of Morgantown; brother, Kenneth ‘Beno’ Smith (Hazel) of Charleston and grandchildren, Kegan Moore (Haley), Luka Moore, Lauren Berry, Joe Berry III and Lyric Berry.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2026 in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Bernard Sheely.
