Anthony “Tony” Morgan Smith, of High Point, NC, formerly of Winfield, WV passed away May 27, 2026, at the age of 62.
Tony was born on April 13, 1964, in Charleston, West Virginia, a son of Melanie and Russell Smith. He was an accomplished master carpenter and was an avid outdoorsman. Tony loved his family and friends and watching the water run by at the Greenbrier River in West Virginia.
Surviving are his loving wife, Heather Hackler Smith; a daughter, Ashton Morgan Smith Trexler and her husband Jonathan Trexler; two grandchildren, Aria Coal Trexler and Caleb Edward Trexler; his mother, Melanie Smith Fannin; a brother, Matthew Smith and wife Sarah and numerous friends who are considered family.
Join us as we celebrate the life of Tony on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Valley Park Conference Center from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a time of sharing at 1:30 PM.
