Tommy E. Miller, 79, passed peacefully into his heavenly home on June 8, 2026. He was born on November 14, 1946, and lived a life dedicated to his family, faith, country, and community.
Tommy attended St. Andrews United Methodist Church in St. Albans. He proudly served his country as a member of the West Virginia Air National Guard and later retired as a Senior Systems Analyst with Union Carbide.
A man of many interests, Tommy especially enjoyed spending time with his family, caring for his beloved dogs, Sasha and Lilly, and pursuing his passion for technology. He enjoyed building and operating computers and was an avid amateur radio operator, known by his call sign WB8ICT.
Tommy was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann McGrew Miller; his second wife, Patricia Elaine Hayes Miller; parents Calvin and Anna Miller, and his twin brother Johnny Lee Miller.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his son, Tommy Miller, Jr. and wife Suzanne; his daughter, Michele Miller; his brother, Bob Miller and wife Deborah; his grandchildren, Alex Forsbrey and Hannah Forsbrey; and his nephew, Rob Miller Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jared Greene officiating. Entombment will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans.
Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the funeral home.
