Karen Marie Andruzis, 66, of Cross Lanes, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

A graduate of Nitro High School, Karen dedicated many years of service before retiring from Covenant House. She was a faithful and devoted member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she generously shared her musical talents by playing the organ for many years.

Karen will be remembered as a true angel whose kindness, gentle spirit, and genuine love for others touched everyone who knew her. She was always smiling, embraced life with a carefree heart, and was fiercely loyal to those she loved. Her family meant everything to her, and she was always there to love, support, and protect them. Karen found joy in working puzzles and crossword puzzles and treasured the fellowship of her church friends, especially the many meals and outings they shared together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stan and Eleanor Andruzis; and her siblings, David Andruzis, Andy Andruzis, Joyce Andruzis, and Linda Andruzis.

Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory her nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Andrew, Jason, Jacqueline, Matthew, and Steven; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Avery, Ryder, Lillian, Warren, Addilyn, River, Allison, Waylon, Wesleigh; and a host of other beloved family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father John Chapin Engler officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass on Wednesday at the church.

Karen’s warm smile, unwavering faith, and loving heart will forever remain in the memories of all who were blessed to know her. May she rest in the peace and love of our Lord.
