Okey J. Johnson, 91, of Pond Gap passed away Saturday, July 4th, 2026, at home after a short illness.
He was a retired Coal Miner and a member of the UMWA. He was a member of the Laurel Fork AC Church for over 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Leona; parents, and seven siblings.
Surviving, daughters, Pam Hamrick (Jerold), Robin Johnson, Sarah Johnson; 6-Grandchildren; 7-Great Grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday, July 9th, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Laurel Fork AC Church Laurel Fork, WV with Pastor Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Seabolt Cemetery Laurel Fork, WV. Visitation will be 2-Hours prior to the services at the Church on Thursday.
