Wanda Carol Seagraves George, of Big Chimney, WV, was born November 24, 1952, and passed away July 3, 2026, at Hubbard Hospice House.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond George; her parents, Jim and Marian Seagraves; her sister, Gena Kitchen; and her brother, Kermit Seagraves.
She is survived by her daughters, Michele (PJ) White and Nicole (Jon) Baldwin; her grandchildren, Brandon (Amber) Slack, Seth White, and Jake Baldwin; Jamie (Nikki) George numerous step-grandchildren; her great-grandchildren, Brogan White, Aviana Kelly, and Barrett Kelly; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved grand dog, Jack Alan. She is also survived by her sisters, Margaret (Emil) Martin, Sandra (Danny) Burdette, Phyllis (Louis) Kealer, and Stella (Curt) Thomas; her brother, Jimmy (Janet) Seagraves; and her dear friends, Sandy and Jerri. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks to caregiver Amanda Hall for the excellent care, kindness, and compassion she provided.
Wanda was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church and dedicated 38 years of service to CAMC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hubbard Hospice House or the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 9, at 1:00 PM at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Glasgow, WV. with Pastor Rodney Smith officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cooke Funeral Home. Cedar Grove, WV 25039
