Barbara Ellen Randolph
July 28, 1957 – July 13, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Barbara Ellen Randolph, age 69, on July 13, 2026, at her home.
Barbara was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1975 and went on to dedicate more than 30 years of service as an employee of the State of West Virginia before retiring in 2012 from the WV Supreme Court of Appeals.
In retirement, Barbara found happiness tending to her yard and beautiful flower gardens. She treasured every moment spent with family and friends, creating lasting memories with those she loved most.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Charlotte Clower, and her brothers, William Berger, Hubert Clower, and George Clower.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Mark Randolph; her son, Joseph Beane (Jessica); her cherished grandson, Gavin Beane; her stepdaughter, Brittany Hesmond (Tom); her beloved grandson, Bronson Harper; her sister, Heidi Frye (Ken); her nephews, Christopher Berger, Justin Berger, William Clower, Jonathan Frye, and Daniel Frye; her niece, Daniela Lenz; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many dear friends and extended family members.
Barbara’s kindness, love, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered always. Her gentle spirit, warm heart, and the love she shared with those around her leave a lasting legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A memorial service celebrating Barbara’s life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Dunbar United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will be from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
