Rebecca (Becky) Jean Gandee Harper, 80, of Procious, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Charleston Area Medical Center-General, following a short illness.
She was born February 17, 1945, at Clendenin, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph Hoat and Ida Mae Waybright Gandee.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Holbert, Clyde, Dolas, Marvin, and sister Earthleen.
She is survived by brothers Clifford and Clem, children Kimberly (Bandit), Rodney, and Regina, grandchildren, Christopher, Jordan, Haleigh, Tiffany (Camila), Leah, and Mason (Lukah), 4 great-grandchildren, boyfriend Danny, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held January 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Rucker Family Cemetery, Elkview, WV, with Rev. Clarence Deel officiating. Online condolences can be shared with the Harper family at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com.
