Ayla Analee Plumley, 35, left this world unexpectedly on January 6, 2026. Ayla was born on May 19, 1990.
Those left to cherish her memory are her father, Kevin Plumley, and wife, Stevi; her grandmother, Patty Plumley; her sister, Jennifer Jordan, and daughter, Shyanna; grandfather, Buddy Karnes; her lifelong friend, GraySon Canaday; and a host of nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Ayla was preceded in death by her mother, Shelia Karnes; her grandmother, Opal Nary; her grandfather, Emmett Plumley; her aunt, Kelli Plumley; her nephew, Zachary Meadows; her bonus sister, Clarissa Hood; her brother-in-law, Johnny Meadows; and several other close family members.
She was an intelligent, vibrant extrovert whose presence could light up any room. Ayla deeply loved her friends and family, and she made everyone feel seen, valued, and welcomed. Every person who crossed her path played a meaningful role in her joyful journey here on earth, and she, in turn, left a lasting impression on all of us.
A celebration of Ayla’s life will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 8:00 PM at Judah Praise Outreach Ministries, located at 1613 Maxwell Hill Road, Beckley, WV 25801, with Pastor Benjamin McCoy officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM before the service.
Special thank you to Payton Hood, Cortney Hood, Aunt Beverly Williams, and Layla Karnes for their kindness, love, and support during this time.
We will love and miss Ayla forever.
