Phillip Eugene Stricker
Phillip Eugene Stricker (Phil), 93, of Charleston went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
Phil enjoyed creating with his hands. Whether building smaller items for his family and friends to a house when he was in his sixties. He also enjoyed playing his guitar, whether privately to himself or jamming with his friends. Phil came to know his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an older age of seventy at a small church in Reedy, WV. He spent hours reading his bible and watching faith-based programs. He enjoyed nature and had traveled to many of West Virginia’s State Parks.
He is preceded in death by his parents Benedict A. L. Stricker and Ella Marie Murphy Stricker, wife Elizabeth Marie Stricker (Libby), daughter Jeanette Marie Hughes (Rick) and brothers; Raymond Stricker and Benny Frank Stricker and great-grandchildren Adeline Grace Hall (Christi and Erik) and Tegan and Reagan Stricker (Aaron and Katelyn)
He is survived by his son; Daniel E. Stricker, brothers Charlie Stricker (Pauline), and Will Stricker, 3 grandchildren: A. Alex Stricker, Christi A. Hall (Erik), P. Aaron Stricker (Katelyn). Great grandchildren: Elio Atlas Stricker and Indi Magdalene Stricker (Aaron and Katelyn) and Lacie Marie Hall (Christi and Erik).
A joint memorial service for Phil and Libby will be held later in the year when family can attend and their ashes can be laid to rest together.
