Franklin Eugene Armstrong, age 81, passed away peacefully on January 10th, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He lived a life defined by dedication, hard work, and love for his family.

After graduating from high school, Frank began what would become a lifelong career as a barber. For more than six decades, he stood behind the chair, not just cutting hair but building relationships, sharing stories, and offering a listening ear to generations of customers. His barbershop was a place of connection, laughter, and tradition, and he took great pride in his craft.

Frank was known for his strong work ethic, steady hands, and love for sports. He believed in showing up every day, doing honest work, and treating everyone with respect. Outside of the shop, he enjoyed traveling, playing softball, and cherished time spent with family and friends.

He is survived by wife Anita, sons Todd and Mike, daughter Michelle, grandsons Michael (Laura), Jimmy (Brianna), granddaughter Jenna and great-granddaughter Layla, step-children Jamie (Jason), Kenneth, Johnathan, step-grandson Shavan who will forever remember his wisdom, humor, and unwavering presence. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Mary and his late-wife Carol Sue Armstrong.

Frank’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the conversations shared in his chair, and the example he set through a life of commitment and integrity. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Frank’s wishes were to have no services.
