Margaret Diane Leadmon, 81, of Glasgow, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026, at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
Margaret was a retired administrator for the West Virginia State Tax Department’s Mapping Division. She was a woman who loved being outdoors — whether tending to her garden beds, planting flowers, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature. She cherished quilting and treasured time spent with her grandchildren. Still active and full of life, Margaret regularly went to the gym with her friends to stay fit and social.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Thomas Denny and her sister, Beverly Martin.
Survivors include her son, Justin Leadmon (Marianne); daughters, Angela Kay Leadmon and Sonia Leadmon; brothers, Richard Denny and Jack Denny; three grandchildren; four furry pet great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Chloe.
In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, her remains will be cremated and there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s honor to the Kanawha County Humane Association.
