Carla Lynn Hancock, 69, of Witcher passed away June 11, 2026 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
She was a retired custodian for Kanawha County Schools, member of the Belle VFW #1356 and a member of Esta Memorial Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Daniel A. Hancock; son, Jospeh Shane Hancock; parents, Buddy and Judith Adkins Rose; grandmothers, Bertha Adkins, Irene Hoy; father-in-law, Lloyd ‘Heag’ Hancock and mother-in-law, Freda Hancock.
Surviving are her son, Daniel Jason Hancock of Witcher; sisters, Connie Chestnut (Jerry) of Belle, Carrie Cobb (Larry) of Belle, Cathy Flint of North Charleston, Crystal Arenas (Jeff) of Cape Coral, Florida and grandchildren, Brayden Hancock, Kylie Jo Hancock, Joseph Shane Hancock Jr. and Bryson Gunnar Hancock.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2026 in Witcher Cemetery with Pastor Tony Rumberg officiating.
