Wanda Marie Bailey, 89, of Minnora, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, June 12, 2026, after a long illness.
Born on June 17, 1936, in Minnora, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Dessie Jett. Wanda was a dedicated employee of B.F. Goodrich, where she worked as a manufacturer until her retirement.
She is survived by her children, Leslie Bailey, Brenda (Larry) Siers, Kevin (Cathy) Bailey, Son in Law Bob Butler; her grandchildren, Bobby Butler, Chris Butler, Nathan (Farrah) Bailey, Zach Bailey, Angel Siers, and Alisha Siers; her great-grandchildren, Madison Butler, Marissa Butler, Parker Bailey and Seth Bailey; her brothers, Bruce (Janet) Jett and Calvin (Shirley) Jett; her sister, Nola Smith; several nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Bugs.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Okey Delmar Bailey Jr, daughter Barbara Butler, brother and sister-in-law Blane and Janice Jett, and brother-in-law Leon Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 1440 Arnoldsburg Road, Arnoldsburg, WV 25234, with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating. Burial will follow at the Bailey Family Cemetery in Minnora, West Virginia. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
