Laskey “Tuscon” Seabolt, 82, of Clendenin passed away, Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV.
Laskey was a loving brother, spouse, father and grandfather. He joined the U.S. Army and served our country being stationed in Alaska. He was part of the US Army’s rescue operation during the 9.2 Richter scale Good Friday Earthquake that occurred March 27, 1964 in Valdeze, Alaska.
He loved to hunt and fish the woods of West Virginia and liked to look at his antler trophies on his walls. He was an avid gardener and planting fruit trees along his Clendenin property was a favorite activity of his.
Laskey was one of 16 children of his parents. He was of Full Gospel faith with his son-in-law, Tony Truman as his pastor.
Laskey is predeceased by his parents Walter Seabolt and Malisia Smith Seabolt, his loving wife, Roxanna Terry Seabolt and son, Jason Seabolt and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his daughter Virginia (Tony) Truman, Malisia Jane Seabolt, his grandson Dakota Seabolt and his four legged granddaughter, Charity.
To honor his request, Laskey requested to be buried by his loving wife Roxanna. Family will hold a private service at a later date.
