Ronnie Lee Kirk, 21, of Cedar Grove, West Virginia, joined his beloved Mamaw Sam, and his Uncle Fred, in Heaven on January 7 2026.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia, to Holli and Richard Kirk, Ronnie was a cherished son, brother, nephew and friend whose heart was as big as his smile.

He grew up in Winifrede, where he loved the outdoors, adventure, and time spent playing in the creek and climbing trees.

From a young age, Ronnie had a passion for sports, especially football. He played for the Twin City Miners and Cedar Grove and was known for his fearless spirit and determination. He was also an accomplished wrestler and archer, competing in the World Championships twice and earning an individual medal at the West Virginia State Tournament.

Above all, Ronnie loved caring for others. He enjoyed cooking for his friends and family, always insisting everyone try everything he made. He was the protector of his family, the one who showed up without hesitation, and he would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, even a stranger. Always the life of the party, Ronnie’s laughter, kindness, and love for life will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Ronnie has now found peace in the arms of the Lord, reunited with those who went before him. While our hearts are heavy with his absence, we find comfort in knowing he is watching over us from the best seat in the house. Until we meet again he will remain our protector our champion, and our beloved Ronnie Lee.

Ronnie is survived by his mother Holli Kirk of Cedar Grove, brother and sister James and Karsyn Smith, both at home, Brother Jacob (Chassidy and Cayden) Kirk of South Carolina

Hailie (James) Selbe of Campbell’s Creek, Papaw Ron (Linda) Stanley of Charleston

and Aunt Danielle Stanley of Saint Albans. He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend,

Dolly Reynolds of Cabin Creek and also Richie, Destinee, and Austin Kirk and several Aunts Uncles & lots of Cousins and we can’t leave out his rescue Kitty Percy, who misses him so dearly.
