Chauncey Alan Chandler of Poca, WV went to his Heavenly reward on Thursday, January 15, 2026, after a long illness.
He was born in Charleston, WV September 22, 1961, to the late Sam and Amber Chandler. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Sid and Ivy Chandler and Edward and Macil Bradshaw, and his best friend Henry Lambert.
He was a retired business owner from the WV Business community. His passion was collecting guns and Elmo’s.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years Diana Grant Chandler, children Mandy Lemon of Dunbar, Carl Workman and wife Anita of Charleston, and R. Cheyanne Sadler of Julian, grandchildren Marissa Ervin (who was the light of his life) of Dunbar, Ethan Lemon of Myrtle Beach, SC, Roger Workman of Charleston, and Austin and Dante Sadler of Harrisburg, PA, his precious great-grandchildren Hunter, Hensley, and Houston Ervin of Dunbar, Alvin Workman of Charleston, siblings Samuel Bradshaw and wife Tracy of Elkview, Carolina Chandler of Nitro, James Chandler of Nitro, and Keith Chandler and wife Lori of Elkhart, IN, his special friend Mike Patton, several nieces and nephews and his precious tuxedo cat, Mikey.
There will be a private service at a later date.
The family wants to give a special thank you to Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
