Bernice Shafer, 79, of Clendenin entered into eternal rest Friday, Jan. 23, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry C. Shafer, mother, Juanita Adkins Reed, father, Bernard Belcher, and sister, Linda Sue Moffatt and brother, Gary Reed.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Burdette, step-daughter, Cathy Paxton and step-son, Larry C. Shafer, Jr., sister, Neica Goodwin.

Per, Bernice request there will be no service. Burial will be at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
