Donna Lewis 82, of Hurricane, WV, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026.
She was a daughter of the late Denward and Eva Goodwin De Lancey. Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Donna built a life centered on love, faith, and family.
Donna was the devoted wife and love of the life of Pete Lewis, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. Their union was brought together by God and strengthened through faith, creating a marriage rooted in love and devotion.
Above all, Donna was most proud of her family. She also loved her pets. She was loving, strong, and selfless, always placing the needs of others before her own. She was strong in her Christian faith, which guided her life and gave her peace and purpose. Her family finds comfort knowing she is now at peace in heaven, resting with her Savior.
Donna is survived by her husband of 56 years, Pete Lewis; children: Tina Bailey (Ron), Wendy Hall (Mark), Sherry Davidson (Jeff), Pete Lewis (Amy), Chris Lewis (Penny), and Triston Lewis (Elizabeth); sisters: Bernita Maxson and Ruth Miller (Richard); brother, Dee DeLancey (Carol); she was also blessed with grandchildren: Roger, Wesley, Andy, Heather, Tiffany, Haylee, Alex, Dylan, Trey, Bailey, Payton, McKenzie, Braden, and Carter; and 12 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews, all of whom brought her immense joy.
