Calder Edward “Eddie” Tolley, 72, of Belle went to his heavenly home, Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Eddie was a retired mechanic for Kanawha County School Board, an avid Nascar fan, a WVU Mountaineer football fan and a family man whose kids and grandkids were his pride and joy. He enjoyed watching wildlife from his front porch, working in his garage and was the go-to mechanic and “fix-it” guy for family and friends. He was a member of the Charleston Moose Lodge for several years. Eddie was kind, compassionate and an all around good man who would do whatever he could to help his friends and family and was just all around the best Daddy and Papaw anyone could ask for.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Helena “Dolly” Tolley.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen “Libby” Tolley; his children, Amanda (Frank) Young and Chris (Hayley) Tolley; sister, Linda (Dale) Grimmett; grandchildren, Tyler Unrue, Quinn Unrue, Kelsy Unrue, Reagan Tolley, Mallory Tolley and Kellyn Tolley; his cousin who was like a brother, George “Bud” Fultz; and lifelong best friend, who was also like a brother, Ronnie Jones; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

A memorial service in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes will be held at a later date and when those service times have been finalized, the obituary will be updated.
