Carole Elaine Elliott Dixon, 80, of St. Albans passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026,
at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
She was born on November 1, 1945 in Charleston, WV to the late Phyllis Kathleen Patton
Elliott and the late William Victor Elliott. She was also preceded in death by her only sister
Connie Jean Elliott Joyce.
She was a 1963 graduate of St. Albans High. She enjoyed her time as a clerk at State Farm
and as a volunteer at the food pantry at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in St. Albans.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 61 years Jack Dixon; children, Kevin (Christina) Dixon,
and Matthew (Tammy) Dixon; grandchildren Jaden, Rachel, Anthony (Jessica) and Kevin
(Debra) Dixon; great grandchild Austin Dixon as well as many other friends and family
including Patty Reed, Vicky Valentine, Anna Price and Mari Reive (cousin).
No services have been planned at this time. In lieu of flowers to the family, donations can
be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in St. Albans
