Mr. Abe Ross Patterson, 94 of Detroit, MI, passed away on February 5, 2026.
Mr. Patterson was born to the late Abner and Betherlyn Patterson in Detroit, MI on December 2, 1931. He is a retired correctional officer and an Air Force Veteran. On May 18, 1962, Abe united in holy matrimony with Arquilla Ruth Bragg Patterson, they became a family of six over the years which included two children from a prior relationship.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and daughter Yvonne Draughn.
Abe leaves on to carry his legacy of kindness and love, his children Gregory Phillips, Sylvia Patterson, and Reginald Patterson; grandchildren Gregory (Roxanne) Dismuke, Ayanna (George) Wilsher, William (Amber) Hampton, Christopher (Danielle) Hampton, Fallon Bellamy, and Jonathan Patterson; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
