Joann Belt, 76, of Orma, West Virginia, passed away at her home on Friday, February 20, 2026.
She was born November 22, 1949, in Logan, WV, a daughter of the late Mose Block and Betty Jo Hamilton and Martha Block.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Ronnie Block and Mose Block, Jr.; sisters Barb, Vivian, and Irene; and grandson Timothy Sizemore.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Johnny Belt; daughter Cathy Sizemore (James); sons Kenneth Jones and George “Buddy” New, Jr.; sister Kathy; grandchildren Donnie Sizemore, Anthony Sizemore, Kristina Sizemore, James Sizemore, Jr.; and Finley New; and great-grandchildren Lacy and Hunter Pierson, Carter Sizemore, Kelly Sizemore, Jealyn Sizemore, Brylee Sizemore, Zoe Sizemore, Rilyn Sizemore, and Melody Fields.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral home & Cremation Inc., 1440 Arnoldsburg Road, Arnoldsburg, WV 25234, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Jim Lough.
