Steve Taylor, 71, of South Charleston died Friday, February 27, 2026 at WVU Medicine Thomas Memorial Hospital with family by his side.
Born May 15, 1954 in Charleston, WV. Son of the late, Robert Lee and Beulah Christine (Kinser) Taylor. Also preceding him in death was sister, Elizabeth Kay Taylor.
Robert was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and was a huge supporter of the school. He retired from Verizon. And later in life took up playing the trombone.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved companion, Carolyn Branham; sister, Tammie (Taylor) Vanbrocklin (Scott); niece Ashley Vanbrocklin; special friend, Gary as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM., Friday, March 6, 2026 at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Good Shepherd Mortuary 335 Fifth Avenue, South Charleston, WV 25303 has been entrusted with the arrangements.
