Edith J. “Eydie” (Crowder) Hundley 70, of Hugheston, WV. passed away Sunday March 15, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 19, 1955, to the late Della Johnston and Malcolm Crowder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Bertha King, Catherine Selbe, Barbara Johnston, Shirley Coy and Diana Johnston, and brothers Lonnie and Eddie Johnston. Surviving husband of 44 years, Ralph Hundley; daughters, Stephanie Hundley and Amanda (Aaron) Cran; grandchildren, Maxwell & Ember Crank; brothers, Clinton (Laura) Johnston of Cromwell, IN and Johnny (Joyce) Johnston of Mount Carbon, WV. Edith was a graduate of DuPont High School class of 1974. She worked in banking starting at Merchants National Bank Montgomery, WV and retired from City National Bank in Glasgow, WV. Services will be Wednesday March 18, 2026, at the Hughes Creek Community Church at 1:00 PM with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow the Services in Montgomery Memorial Park London; WV Visitation will be 1-hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday. Per Edith request Casket will be closed.
