Jeffrey Dale Comer 66 of Pinch, WV went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2026, due to complications from cancer.
Jeffrey was a hard worker. He worked many jobs. He retired from the City of Charleston Sanitary Board as an operator. He also served the Lord by filling in pulpits when needed and had preached Sundays at the Charleston Arbors and men shelter for 20 plus years. Even after he retired, he would make himself available to help anyone in any way he could. He loved the Lord and shared the gospel everywhere he went. Jeff loved people and always tried to bring a smile to their face. He was a hugger and often would kiss you on top of the head. He just wanted people to know how much he cared. He was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife Danette Comer of Elkview. His brother Greg Comer, Alan Comer, and Susie Shaffer (Mark) Also his son Les Snead (Rhiannan) of South Charleston, his bonus daughters Jennifer Miller (Ben) of Riverview, Florida, Samantha Jenkins (Jonathan) of Smithers, WV, and Victoria Swagger (Zachary) of Saint Albans. He had many grandchildren, Ariya Snead, Aubrey Martin, Mason, Mallory, Cameron, Stephen, David, Garett, and Joseph Sutler. Also, Mason (Miller) Zane, Brody, Rhett, Lincoln, Henry and Tamera; he loved them all dearly.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father Dallas Comer, mother Janice Comer, sister Debra Boggess, and brother David Comer, and a very special aunt Bessie Comer, and nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life on Monday March 23rd at First Baptist Church of Pinch in Elkview, WV with visitation from 5:00pm -6:00pm and funeral service starting at 6pm. Please bring your memories and stories to share.
