Mrs. Doris L. Cook, 59, of Nitro, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, and companion who found her greatest joy in her family. She especially cherished time spent with her children and granddaughter, who were the center of her world. Doris also had a special love for her dogs, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Cook; her parents, Jarrett and Edna Lemaster; her sisters, Barbara Shillings and Brenda Lemaster; and her brother, Bobby Lemaster.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Eurana Cook and Fred Lee Cook, Jr.; her fiancé, Jerold Gowen; her brother, Garrett Lemaster; her sister, Angela Lemaster; her granddaughter, Lexi Cook; and a host of other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
