Perry Samuel Fisher, 71, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 20,

2026. Born on August 6, 1955, Perry lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and a deep love for

those around him.

Perry was a man known for his kind heart and gentle spirit. He had a natural gift for listening,

always offering a comforting presence and wise words to anyone who needed them. His

genuine care for others left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. Perry loved fishing, often spending peaceful hours

by the water. He was also a devoted fan of WVU sports, cheering on his team with enthusiasm

and pride. Whether gathered with friends or surrounded by family, he cherished every moment

of connection, laughter, and togetherness.

Perry had a playful side that brought smiles to many—he loved playing dice and was known for

his easygoing nature and constant happiness. His laughter was contagious, and his presence

could brighten any room.

Above all, Perry loved his family and friends deeply. The time he spent with them was what

mattered most, and those memories will forever be treasured.

He is survived by his son, Matt Fisher; his grandchildren, Malachi Fisher, Isaiah Fisher, and

Josiah Fisher; and his step-grandchildren, Lane Mobley and Elena Mobley. He is also survived

by his brother Ricky Fisher (Leila); as well as many loving nieces and nephews, including Robin

Fisher, Wendy Fisher, Tina Hoban, Tammy Ng, Stephanie Profitt, Randy Fisher, Andy Fisher,

Gary Profitt II, and Stephen (Eric) Profitt. Perry also leaves behind many great-nieces and

great-nephews, along with countless dear friends whom he loved deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Fisher and Marjorie Fisher; his brother, Bobby

Fisher (Sharon); and his sisters, Michelle Pritchard (Randy) and Pamela Profitt (Gary).

He will be remembered for his compassion, his joy, and the love he shared so freely. Perry’s

legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A remembrance gathering to celebrate Perry’s life will be scheduled at a later date for family and

friends.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
