Michael Lee Reip, 50, of Grantsville, WV passed away suddenly March 30, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born February 21, 1976, in Calhoun County, WV, to Carol J. Pritt, who preceded him in death, and Donnie Dean of Duck, WV.
Michael was united in marriage on February 18, 2012, to his wife of 14 years, Chrystal Gail (White) Reip, who survives.
In addition to his mother, Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dalton and Norma Brady Reip.
Michael is survived by his wife and father, as well as a half-sister, Olivia Bass, a half-brother, Christopher Dean, his children, Nickolas Reip (Morgan Smith), HayLee Reip (JC McKay), Hannah Johnson (Jarrod Stutler), and a special “bonus son”, Daniel Smith. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family also survive.
Michael was a dedicated employee of Global Inspection Services where he worked as a chief pipeline inspector. He was a loving husband and father who will be remembered for his selfless nature and his ever present willingness to help anyone in need.
The family will honor Michael’s wishes for cremation and there will be no public service.
