John Paul Proctor Jr., 53, of Witcher passed away May 24, 2026 at CAMC General Division.
He was an US Army Veteran, an avid outdoorsman and loved to scrap and collect junk.
Preceding him in death were his daughter, Alisyn Proctor; grandparents, Roy and Ardith Jeffery and Lee and Margaret Proctor.
Surviving are his companion, Nycole Lester of Witcher; sons, John Proctor III, Justin Proctor both of Charleston, Brendan Goundry; daughters, Rochelle Star Sigman of Ripley, Angel Proctor, Nikki Pauley (Wyatt) of Kenna, Kristen Donnally of Charleston; parents, John Paul Sr. and Patricia Proctor of Amma; brothers, Scott Proctor of Newton, Brad Proctor of Amma; sisters, Cheryl Short of Amma, Mya Proctor of Procious; special buddy, Kennedy of Procious; grandchildren, Destiny Sigman, Serenity Sigman, Ellie Sigman, Azhalee Straughter, Terrisyn Straughter, Kingston Proctor, Louelle Proctor, Connor Prather, Cohen Prather, Carter Prather, Lainey Pauley, Forrest Proctor, Adeline Proctor, Zyon Wilson, Brianna Wilson, Justin Wilson, Ravyn Donnally, Tyler Goundry, Cammi Cordon, Gloria Cordon and nieces and nephews, Savannah Proctor, Dominic Proctor, Jozee Proctor, Brodey Proctor, Austin Proctor, Brandon Proctor and Neveah Arner.
In keeping with John’s request, his cremation wishes will be honored and there will be no services.
