Vera Lea Graham, 78, of Charleston and a 50 year resident of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away May 20, 2026 at CAMC General Hospital.
Vera was a retired police officer and crime scene investigator with the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved spending time at Lake Mead fishing, riding jet-skis, camping and four wheeling on sand dunes with her friend, Terick.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Alberta Reynolds; son, Clint Cavender and aunt, Marcella Sparks.
Surviving are her daughters, Cassandra Rodrigues of Charleston, Kimberly Orvidas of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Phyllis Halstead (Steve) of Charleston; grandchildren, John Cooper II, Annastasha Graham, McKayla Lovejoy (Caleb), Misty Orvidas, Destiny Orvidas, Melvin Fiske, Serinety Fiske, Falicia Cavender, Brandy Cavender; nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
