Kristen Lonczynski, 42, of Annamoriah, died suddenly on May 19th, 2026. She is survived by her mother, Betty Mechler, her father, Barry Lonczynski, her son, Zakeriah, Sanchez- Lonczynski, her aunt and uncle Kathy and Jorge Correa, great aunts and uncles: Helen Henkel, Steve and Faye Frederick, and Elizabeth and Conrad Beattie, numerous cousins, and even more friends.

Kristen is preceded in death by her grandmother Eleanor McKinnon, grandfather William Mechler, and great uncles Arthur Henkel and Albert McKinnon.

Kristen will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. She was very civic minded and had been a volunteer at the Creston Community Building for years. Other lifetime volunteer service included trail clean-up for the U.S. Department of Forestry, food distributions for the Oregon Food Bank, 6 different Relays for Life for the American Cancer Society, and as a member of the 4-H leadership team had the opportunity to mentor elementary school children.

As a teenager and young adult, Kristen was extremely active in 4-H, Girl Scouts, and FFA. She was an accomplished animal showman and won many awards, including 13 showmanship competitions, half of which required proficiency showing 4 to 6 breeds. She competed twice nationally in “horsebowl” at the Western Regional 4-H show in Denver, Colorado. Kristen also enjoyed livestock judging, particularly judging sheep, for which she won the California State title. Kristen was also a member of the 4-H California Champion Livestock Judging Team at both the California State competition and Great Western Livestock Show.

Kristen was also an FFA ambassador to Washinton DC. An accomplished public speaker, she won many awards at various competitions and once addressed an audience of over 500 people at U.C. Davis.

Kristen was a loving person and never knew a stranger. If someone needed help, she was always there to lend a hand.

She now resides with Jesus and is receiving her eternal reward.

A memorial is planned for Sunday, July 12th, 2026, at 1pm at the Creston Community Building. All are welcome to attend.
