Carolyn Sue Stone, 85, of Charleston passed away August 1, 2026 at Glasgow Hills.
She was a retired budget and cost accounting representative for CAMC Hospitals and a member of Springfork Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her brothers, Gayle and Lloyd Hudnall; sisters, Madge Harrell, Pamela Young; nephew Gayle ‘Bugs’ Hudnall Jr and parents, Russell and Fannie Bailes Hudnall.
Surviving are her husband, Stephen Stone; daughters, Zan Hoagland (James) of Waterford, Connecticut, Stephanie White (James) of Charleston; grandchildren, Seth Hoagland, Spencer Hoagland (Gemma), Stephen White, Ashton Nash (Jeremiah) and great-granddaughter, Nova Nash.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2026 at Springfork Missionary Baptist Church with Pastors Mike Long and Ed Jarrett officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time at the church on Friday.
