Jeff Allen Peters, 65, of Poca, passed away October 12, 2026, at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston
Jeff was born on February 9, 1961, the son of the late Andrew “Andy” Allen Peters and Donna-Jean Peters.
He grew up on Browns Creek and was a 1978 graduate of St. Albans High School. He worked as an Information Technology Technician. Jeff was an extremely friendly and charismatic person who brought an unmistakable light and warmth into every room he entered. He firmly believed that “anything” could be fixed and was quite the handyman when it came to home repairs and vehicles. His favorite hobbies were playing fantasy football and trivia with his friends. Jeff was happiest when he was spending time with his late dog named Rosebud, who was his whole world and his daughter says she just knows that Rosebud is right there beside him in Heaven. Jeff was a very resilient and courageous person having survived a 6-way bypass surgery in 2016 due to a heart attack.
Jeff leaves behind to cherish his memory his sole heir, his daughter, Mikeala K. Peters.
For the present time there will be no public service, rather a small celebration of life with immediate family only in attendance.
In the future a celebration of life will be held for Jeff’s friends after the family has had time to privately grieve his passing.
