Cleo L. Morris Wolfe 102 of Hughes Creek left this world peacefully on January 21 2025. She was born May 19th 1923. She loved her family and friends deeply and was known for being caring, funny, and truly inspiring. Always ready for an adventure or a simple get-together, Cleo brought warmth and joy wherever she went.
She was a devoted Christian who faithfully ended her prayers with the words, “Never forget the needs of others.” That was more than a phrase to her—it was the way she lived her life. Her faith guided her, and her kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew her.
Cleo was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer Wolfe; her mother, Verna Rhodes Morris; her father, Harry Morris; her son Randall Wolfe , daughter-in-law, Sherry Wolfe; her sister, Juanita Morris Bowe; and her brothers Harry Morris Jr., Franklin Morris, Julian Morris and Robert Morris
She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Marshall Wolfe(Sandra Wolfe) and Darrel Wolfe(Sandra Wolfe).
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Christina Wolfe, Stephanie Price, Lana Hedrick, Melissa Galloway, Robin Wolfe, Brittany Stewart, Stephen Wolfe and William Wolfe. As well as great grandchildren: William Wolfe II, Zach Wolfe, Elijah Hedrick, Grant Hedrick, Julia Price, Isabella Wolfe, Abbey Moore, Cara Stewart, and Maren Stewart
Cleo is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews who will continue to carry her legacy of love and faith.
A resident of Hughes Creek, West Virginia, Cleo faithfully attended Hughes Creek Church of God, where her devotion to God and care for others were evident to all.
She will be deeply missed by family and friends near and far, but her love, laughter, and unwavering faith will live on in the many lives she touched.
Services will be Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Hughes Creek Community Church, Hugheston, WV with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow be at Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.
