Charles Ray Wilson, 87, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away at his home with his wife and family by his side.
He was born October 14, 1938, in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Hugh and Juanita Limer Wilson.
He was a member of the Rush Run Baptist Church. He Was a 1957 graduate of Calhoun County High School. He retired with 21+ yeast with the US military and 35 years with O’Ames Company.
In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Gary Bailey and a brother David Wilson.
Charles is survived by his wife of 55 years. Anna Lou; daughters Leanna Wilson and Lenora Lyons both of Parkersburg, WV; granddaughters Alayna Washabaugh (Cameron) of Columbus, Ohio and Christa Lyons of Parkersburg, WV; brother Spencer Wilson (Charlet), sister Carol Weekley (Carroll) and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at Sand Ridge Cemetery on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 107 Market St., Grantsville, WV 26147, is honored to serve the Wilson family. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Sand Ridge Cemetery, c/o Crystal Conley, 1926 Sand Ridge Road, Arnoldsburg, WV 25234.
