Jenna Danielle Elmore, born July 7, 1985, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Jenna will be remembered as a devoted mother, loving wife, cherished daughter, and a dear friend to many. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she fought until the very end.

On July 16, 2005, Jenna married the love of her life, Johnathan Elmore. Together, they built a beautiful life grounded in love, laughter, and hard work.

Jenna dedicated her life to helping children. She was a beloved teacher at Elk Elementary Center, where she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. Known for her caring heart and joyful spirit, she will be fondly remembered as a devoted educator—and as the Taylor Swift–loving teacher who brought warmth and light into her classroom each day.

Along with her work as an educator, Jenna held a deep and lasting commitment to learning. She returned to school to further her education, earning her associate and bachelor’s degrees, and ultimately achieving her Master of Arts in Teaching from Western Governors University in 2024, becoming a proud first-generation college graduate.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Edith Vance of Charleston, and her uncle, Christopher Buckner of Beaver.

Jenna is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 25 years, Johnathan Elmore; her children, Brooke Elmore, (Austin Hanson),  John Elmore, Braylee Elmore all of Elkview; her mother, Melissa (Brian) Vickers of Charleston; her beloved grandparents, Jeanette and Curtis Buckner of LeRoy; her aunt, Tina Buckner of Beaver; her brother, Jason (Chrissy) Elmore of Orient; her nieces, Jayden Elmore of Orient and Haleigh (Sean) Marcum of Canal Winchester; her great-niece and great-nephew, Olivia and Logan Marcum of Canal Winchester; and her cousins, Wyatt Buckner, Bailey (Taylor) Perry of Charleston, Franklin (Megan) Buckner, and Calvin and Carter Buckner of Beaver.

Jenna’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and compassion. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Elk Elementary Center in honor of Jenna.
