James Allen Hall, 76, of Elkview passed away April 6, 2026 at home.
He was a retired Lock and Dam Operator for the United States Army Corps of Engineers and a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.
Preceding him in death were his son, James A. ‘Turtle’ Hall; brother, Robert Andrew Hall and parents, James and Mary Brown Hall.
Surviving are his wife, Coleen Hall; son, Shane Hall; step-sons, Chris Graley, Kevin Graley, Steven Graley all of Belle; daughters, Angie Burns of Elkview, Shannon Lester of Belle; sister, Delana Williams of Bluffton, South Carolina; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In keeping with James’s requests, his cremation wishes will be honored and there will be a memorial service at a later date.
