Geraldine Faye (Moore) Baker, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, entered eternal fellowship with her Savior Jesus Christ on 4/15/2026. Gerri was an amazing person. A true inspiration to all who knew her. She contracted MS in her mid-twenties and dealt with the debilitating effects the rest of her life, but she never lost her zest for life or her sense of humor. Her kind heart and wisdom drew people to her. She always pointed to Jesus as the answer to every problem.
Gerri loved to cook, cheat at UNO, eat lots of candy, and garden and she loved animals, especially her rescue dog, Rocky, who brought her much joy in recent years.
Gerri was the beloved daughter of the late Delmer and Zelma Moore. She was proceeded in death by her wonderful In-Laws, Ruth and Darrell Baker and her brother Ray Moore along with brothers- in- law Michael Giannini and Bill Barker. She is survived by Randy Baker, her devoted husband of 54 years. Her loving son Chad (Carol) and grandkids, Joseph, Zach, Aiden, and Alyssa. Her sisters Linda, Juanita (Ray), Reva, Debbie (Tom), Annette (Jerry), and brother Bob (Lori). Brothers in Law, John Baker and Dwight Baker and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday April 20th, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel 600 Old Fort St. Cedar Grove, WV 25039 with Services starting at 1:00 PM with Pastor Lee Swor officiating.
