Gloria Ann (Johnson) Bryant, 93, of South Charleston departed this life Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Kanawha Place Assisted Living in Charleston.
She was born December 16, 1932 in Richwood, WV. A daughter of the late, Benjamin Franklin and Ina Pearl (Hinkle) Johnson.
Also preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Avin Keith Bryant; sisters, Mary Madeline “Mack” Houghton and Dorothy Jean Johnson.
Gloria was a graduate of Morris Harvey College. She retired as a registered surgical nurse at Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and a volunteer at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Connie Bryant (Chelsea) and Steven Bryant (Margie); grandchildren, Kimberly “KC” Bryant and Katherine “Katie” Allen (Daniel); great grandchild, Annabelle Allen; nieces, Pat Brison and Joyce Bryant; nephew, Tom Bryant; sister-in-law, Laura Bryant as well as a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM., Monday, May 11, 2026 at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband with Pastor Jarrod Caltrider officiating.
