Brandy Jo Carpenter, 40, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 8, 2026.
She was born March 6, 1986, in Douglasville, GA, a daughter of Cathy Eckman of Arnoldsburg, WV and the late Calvin Carpenter.
Brandy was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was known for her great generosity, often helping others in need. In her last efforts of giving all she could, Brandy donated her organs to help save the lives of others.
In addition to her father, Brandy is preceded in death by her grandparents Mary and Jackie Rhodes, sister Lila Carpenter, and niece Cailyn Powell.
In addition to her mother, Brandy is survived by five children, Levi Fortune; twins, Andrew and Evelyn; and twins, Hunter and Nevaeh. She is grandmother to Weston, Arielle, and was expecting another granddaughter in July. She is also survived by sisters, Rebecca (James) Eckman, Amanda Carpenter, Jessica Carpenter, and Caitlyn (Tyler) Tanner; brothers, John Glekler and Cory Chu; and many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with family wishes, Brandy was cremated. No public service will be held at this time.
