Dennis Wayne Barker
Dennis Wayne Barker, 50, of Alum Creek, West Virginia, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle of heart complications.
Wayne was a devoted family man whose strength, resilience, and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and the love he shared with his family and friends throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Pete Barker and Bonnie Barker, brother Rickie Barker, and niece Chelsea Barker.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother, John (Karen) Barker; his niece, Makenna (Dylan) Justice; his niece Brenda Barker; and his nephew, Nicholas Atkins. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Though Wayne faced many challenges throughout his life, he did so with determination and courage. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His love for the outdoors will continue on through his family and friends.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at a later date. Family and friends are invited to remember him by sharing stories, memories, and the love he gave so freely.
