Mrs. Deborah Ann Snyder, 73, of Nitro, passed away peacefully in the arms of her husband on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, and was safely placed into the arms of Jesus.
Born on January 11, 1953, in Ashland, Kentucky, Deborah was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her throughout her life. She was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and was formerly employed by Tudor’s in Nitro, where she was known for her warm smile and friendly spirit.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Janice Stanely.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 46 years, Wayne Snyder; her children, Kenna Fouty and Sharon Lawson; her sister, Sherrie Stanely; her beloved grandchildren, Morgan Fouty and Gabriel Fouty; her great-granddaughter, Ariellah Fouty; her nieces, Brittany Stanely and Ashley Stanely; her nephew, Jerry Bowman; and her great-nephew, Tanner Bowman. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Deborah will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her devotion to her family, and the love and kindness she shared with all who knew her.
A tribute to the life of Deborah will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the chapel of Gatens-Harding Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Though her earthly journey has ended, her legacy of faith, love, and family will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
