Sandra K. (Laws) Walker, 82, of St. Albans, passed peacefully, surrounded by family at Hubbard Hospice House on June 21, 2026.
Sandy was born on April 28, 1944, to Clarence and Arlou Laws, and grew up in Winifred, WV.
She graduated from East Bank High School and retired from the Charleston Police Department. Sandy was loved by all and never met a stranger. She enjoyed “running around” with her grandchildren, spending time with her family, and going to Rio Grande. She loved her dogs and family beyond words.
Sandy is preceded in death by her only daughter, Leah (Rumbaugh) Blake, her mother and father, and her beloved husband, Harold Walker.
She is survived by her grandchildren; Kaylie Rumbaugh (Josh), Cole Blake (Jacklyn), Levi Blake, and Mason Blake; her great grandchildren, Lucas and Owen Crockett, her partner of many years, Gary Nease, her stepson, Steven (Kim) Walker, her cherished dogs, Cherry and Blossom, and many great friends, including Nora Laws, Kay Harkins, and Jesus Lugo.
There will be no services at this time.
