Mary Ann Fitzgerald, 72, of Charleston passed July 1, 2026, at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston.
Born June 19, 1954, in South Charleston, a daughter of the late Billy and Elizabeth Fitzgerald.
She is survived by her life partner, Diana Masso; sister, Susie White (Basil); nieces, Michelle “Shelly” Harrison (Corbett), Melissa Preston (Steve), several great-nieces and great-nephews, and furry companions, Sam, Buddy and Casper.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday July 11, 2026, St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1105 Quarrier Street, Charleston, WV 25302. The service will also be live-streamed on St. John’s Charleston Facebook page for those unable to attend in person. Service will be followed by a visitation and a reception in Hunter Fellowship hall. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
On Sunday, a Meeting of Remembrance of Mary Fitzgerald, will be in Room 209 B at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 900 Washington Street E, Charleston, WV 25301, at 11:15 am.
