William Preston “Billy” Turley, 58, of Charleston, passed away on July 21, 2026, at Hubbard Hospice House.
Billy was known for his larger-than-life personality and unforgettable sense of humor. A true hellraiser at heart, he lived life on his own terms and could always be counted on to make those around him laugh. Above all else, Billy loved his family deeply, and they remained the center of his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lena Turley; his mother, Belinda Holbrook; and his brother, B.J. Holbrook.
Billy leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Kyle Allen Bert, Jacqueline Renee Turley, and Rebecca Dawn Turley; his brother, Earl Allen Jenkins; and a host of friends whose lives were enriched by his laughter, friendship, and unforgettable spirit.
Billy will be remembered for the joy he brought to others, the love he shared with his family, and the memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Services will be held at a later date.
